Broughty Ferry Baptist Church holds a range of social activites throughout the year. This page details some of the activites which take place.

Stravaigers

The Stravaigers is the church's hillwalking and rambling group.

We have occasional outings and there are usually spare seats in the cars and everyone is welcome to come along. We have a walk and picnic lunch, and (nearly) always return home in time for tea. Walks range from gentle rambles to serious hillwalks in the mountains.

Our friends at Central Baptist Church also arrange monthly hillwalks. (Usually on the first Saturday of the month). There is usually a small contingent from Broughty on their walks. CBC Website.

19-39 Group
The 19-39 Group was first introduced in 2001 as a group for young adults associated with the church fellowship.

Despite its name, age limits are not strictly enforced which is fortunate for one or two of our older members who now qualify through marriage to much younger ladies!!
Activities are organised every three months or so and have so far included barbecues, christmas meals, ten-pin bowling, curling, a car treasure hunt and quiz nights.

O40's
A group which organises social activities for the over 40's. It meets from time to time throughout the year.
