The church has a team of people who are committed to ensuring that everyone is cared for within our fellowship. They also meet regularly to pray about the needs of the fellowship.

The Pastoral Team

Minister - Rev Dr Brian Talbot Brian has overall pastoral responsibility for God’s people in Broughty Ferry Baptist church. He will visit those will are ill or who need practical or spiritual advice and support.

Pastoral Convener - Sandra Small Sandra supports the minister in developing and coordinating the pastoral ministry within the fellowship. She allocates people who are new to the fellowship to a pastoral group and meets regularly with the Pastoral Committee.

Pastoral Visitors - Your pastoral visitor will try to be aware of any pastoral need you may have and will try to support you. They will liaise with the Minister, Pastoral Convener or Deacon if they feel you need more support than they feel able to offer and they will bring any needs to the Pastoral pray group meeting for prayer.

Fellowship Care

Senior Citizens - The Pastoral Committee organise an annual outing and high tea for the senior citizens in the fellowship and a meal at Christmas.

Meals for mums - Meals are delivered to families with new babies for a week after the baby is born.

Soup and Sandwich Lunches - Two pastoral groups meet each month with the Pastor, their Pastoral visitor and Deacon for a soup and sandwich lunch and a time of fellowship. These lunches are a good way to get to know others members of the fellowship and to involve those new to the fellowship.
