Home > News Broughty Baptist is on the Move! The December Quarterly Business Meeting of the church made a unanimious decision to ask the fellowship of New Kirk for the use of St Aidan’s Halls for morning worship for a trial period from Sunday 1st March through to Sunday 7th June. The New Kirk Congregation Board agreed to our request shortly before Christmas. We regularly have a full congregation for morning worship. In addition, the Creche, Sunday School and Bible Class are restricted in their activities by the limitations placed on them by the hall accommodation. The move to St Aidan’s will provide greater seating capapcity for worship and more space for our young peoples’ work. It will, however, mean more work - we will need to set up the hall for worship, including seating, PA and projector and Achord’s ‘stuff’. The Sunday School and Creche facilities will also need to be set out. We will be seeking volunteers to help out, we hope to set up a rota of helpers who are prepared to come down early and help. This is an exciting opportunity for the church. Please pray for careful planning and preparation and that God will use this exciting opportunity to enrich our fellowship and worship.
